Our mission is to improve the lives of families with legally blind, multi-disabled children. We provide information and financial assistance to help these families address their many unique needs.
How We Help: As the saying goes, many hands make light work. Giving Songs provides an opportunity for everyone to assist in the very large work that these families face each day. Since our inception we’ve been fortunate to donate over $40,000 directly to the blind, multi-disabled community. Additionally, our informational services have helped families obtain over $25,000 in additional grants from other charitable organizations. So far, proceeds generated from the contributions have proudly gone to:
- Make purchases of MV-1 wheelchair lift vehicles affordable for families in desperate need of the basic freedom of transportation.
- Penrickton Center for Blind Children – a private, non-profit residential and day care agency serving blind, multi-disabled children ages one through twelve.
These programs are instrumental in providing relief to families that face enormous challenges every day. Working together we can improve the quality of life for the child as well as the loved ones who provide 24/7 care.
